To promote the development of highly skilled talent in electronic manufacturing, the 2025 Quick Cup 15th Jiangsu SMT Soldering Skills Competition, the Jiangsu division of the 9th National Electronic Manufacturing Soldering Skills Competition and the 6th Talent Training Experience Exchange Meeting were successfully held at Jiangsu Simand Electric Co., Ltd. on September 13.

At the opening ceremony, General Manager Jin Hongxin warmly welcomed experts, leaders and guests from afar. As chair unit of the SMT Professional Committee of Jiangsu Institute of Electronics and host of the competition, Jiangsu Simand is committed to integrating intelligent manufacturing with skilled talent development and building an industry exchange platform.

Mr. Jin expressed the hope that the competition and exchange would promote craftsmanship, industry technology innovation and talent cultivation, and he wished all participants calm performance and excellent results.

The competition included a theory exam and practical soldering. In the contest area, participants focused carefully, operated soldering irons with precision and completed micro-component mounting and soldering on circuit boards, showing solid theory and skilled practice under strict discipline.

Diverse Topics and Industry-Education Integration

After the competition, the talent training exchange meeting was held. Speakers from Jiangsu Simand, Suzhou Oufang Electronics Technology, Suzhou Uninno Electronic Materials Technology, Quick Intelligent Equipment and award-winning industry experts shared topics including DFM, fixture design optimization, high-performance low-temperature pressureless sintered silver, high-reliability soldering and 3D AOI inspection, and craftsmanship in soldering.

On-Site Highlights and Moments of Honor

At the end of the event, multiple awards were announced after strict review by the judges. Yang Wumei from Jiangsu Simand Electric Co., Ltd. won third prize in the enterprise group, demonstrating Simand's solid achievements in skilled talent cultivation. Jiangsu Simand also received the Special Contribution Award and Excellent Organization Award.

The event promoted learning through competition and integration through exchange. It provided a stage for skilled industry talent and a high-level communication platform for electronic manufacturing enterprises across Jiangsu.
